Ceramic coating will protect your vehicle from daily wear it goes through on a daily basis. Such as UV, salt, brake dust, wash marring (swirls), chemicals, dirt, and road grime. Ceramic coating also creates a very slick and hydrophobic surface which helps reduce friction on the paint and lower the chance of wash induced swirl marks over time. The coating will also lock in a deep permanent gloss that lasts years, not weeks. Before the ceramic coating application: 1. Two-stage wash & hand dry 2. Clay bar treatment 3. Iron decontamination 4. Wheels, tires & wheel barrels deep cleaned 5. Air dry/towel dry 6. Machine paint correction 7. IPA panel prep and final inspection 8. Ceramic coating application What to look out for when getting a ceramic coating: . Make sure you are getting a professional grade coating with warranty that is reported on your CARFAX report. . Never get a ceramic coating without paint correction and proper vehicle prep. The coating will not bond correctly to the paint without this. . The coating should be given time to cure after install, in our case with System X Coatings, this process takes three hours. . Ceramic coating on average takes between 8-12 hours, prepare to leave your car overnight if required.
